Its purpose is twofold:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to improve teaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to advance research in English language and literature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CCTE works closely with the&nbsp;Texas College English Association (TCEA), an affiliate of the national&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cea-web.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">College English Association<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/texascea\/\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TCEA<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;provides several sessions for the annual spring conference of CCTE, and the prize-winning TCEA paper is honored with publication in&nbsp;<em>CCTE Studies<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What We Offer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Professional networking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spring conference&nbsp;&#8212; convenient, affordable, exciting.
