The Texas College English Association (TCEA) is the Texas affiliate of the national College English Association. Meeting in conjunction with the Texas-based Conference of College Teachers of English on the first weekend of March each year, TCEA organizes sessions of scholarly papers and creative writing works by and/or about Texas scholars and writers.
TCEA hosts an annual breakfast speaker each year at the conference.
Each year, the TCEA committee awards one paper, $100.00, and inclusion in the annual publication of CCTE Studies. The TCEA award is given during the annual conference’s Saturday luncheon.
TCEA membership dues are currently $15.00, and can be paid online at https://www.cctetx.com/membership.html
TCEA panels are automatically accepted by the CEA for its annual conference. For more information about this benefit, please contact the CEA Liaison, Dr. Moumin Quazi, Tarleton State University, at quazi@tarleton.edu.
